after Upgrading my imac 2019 the inbuild microfon did not work..
I didnt remember what connector it was ?

The microphone is well hidden!
What happened is when you put the adhesive strip down you plugged the hole in the case covering the microphone.

In my case i messed up real good.. the microphone in my 27 inches 5k 2019 is broken after upgrading the ssd.
the ribbon is very fragile
any idea how i can find the part?

Did you fix it? I just ordered one from thebookyard.com, hope it works flawlessly

Nothing to do with a Imac 2019 27 '' I've found that the problem was the microphone itself, means that it's a HARDWARE PROBLEM.

Just try by using your headphone connected or iPods on bluetooth everythings work. So, i can concluded that it is an hardware problem.
