Wii shuts off every 30-45 minutes

My Wii will shut off after 30-60 minutes of gameplay. After My boyfriend vacuumed it, it stopped shutting off for a few days, but now the issue is back. When the wii shuts off, the power light goes off. (Light is black)

could anyone help me with this?

Just to check: have you checked the tempratures of the Wii? It may be that it shuts down because of being too hot.
