A small gray stain appeared in my MacBook Pro 2017 screen
Three months ago I noticed a small gray stain in my macbook pro screen (2017, touch bar, 13''). First I thought it was external dirt and I cleaned it with soft cloth. Then I saw it wouldn't go away. It is not a software problem, the stain still appears when I boot on Windows. It is not dead pixels, because I can see the content behind it.
I've been monitoring it for the last three months. What I noticed: it didn't grow, I think it haven't translated (although I can't be 100% sure), but sometimes it *rotates* a little (it has this long tail which I can see some days is pointing south, some days southeast). I am suspecting it is some kind of dirt, but from the inside of the screen.
So, my question are:
1) Have anybody seem this issue before? I tried to find similar cases but I didn't find any.
2) What could it be? Do you believe this is dirt inside the screen, maybe a problem with the coating of the screen?
3) Could I fix it without risking breaking anything?
The small gray stain in the screen:
I'm kind disappointed with Apple. Besides this stain, recently my screen also presented horizontal lines due to overheating, which I already saw people saying it is due to TCON board overheating. Not sure how much influence the overheating has on this, since sometimes it appears even when I'm just browsing the web and no power consuming task is running.
Another problem I noticed was my “c” key, which presented a small depigmentation of the black ink.
And it also have the famous sticky keys problem, which comes and goes as it pleases. All of these problems with two years of home use (I've never carried it out of home). Sad face.
Is dit een goede vraag?
