Apple released the slimmed-down, buffed up iPad Air on November 1, 2013 in a choice of Space Gray or Silver. It packs the custom A7 processor and ships in 16, 32, 64, and 128 GB configurations.

Why does unit reboot repeatedly

iPad Air 2 reboots without warning. Often begins rebooting over and over.

Might be a software issue. That’s certainly the easiest place to start.

Use a laptop or PC with iTunes install to reset the iPad. Here’s a guide on how to do that https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201252

Thanks for the response. I have performed the outlined tasks numerous times before and it never seems to solve the problem.

@Jim Butts Have you tried putting the device into Recovery Mode when doing the reset?

First turn the iPad off, do this by pressing and holding the Power button until the Power Off slider appears on the screen and then sliding on that to power it off

Launch iTunes on the computer

Hold down the Home button while connecting the iPad to the computer with a USB cable

Continue holding the Home button until iTunes (or Mac Finder) shows a message stating that an iPad in Recovery Mode has been detected

If that doesn't work, have you tried putting it into DFU mode whilst doing the reset?

There's a guide for that, too.

By this point you're probably sick of doing software resets, but if these don't work for you, I can try and help you diagnose hardware issues!
