PS Button not working

Hello my ps button on my controller stopped working suddenly and cant use it cause the button itself is for activating the controller, when i plugged the controller into my pc and look at my controller calibration or something, when i press the ps button nothing is happening, so is there a way to fix it?, i already done fixing it with a pencil, what are others? ,resetting does not work.
