I can’t print anything because paper starts to move and suddenly turns crooked. I think I see the problem but I don’t know how to fix it. I’ll attack a photo.

My Epson Artisan 1430 will occasionally stick and not allow paper to advance. I resolve this by lightly soaking heavy paper in alcohol and running the paper through the printer a few times then discard the paper. 8 1/2 x 11 card stock works best. That resolves the problem.

Overall, I'm not impressed with this printer. For the cost it should operate far better. Prints usually are smudged with ink. Because ink and paper are expensive I'm not happy with this fault.
Half the time I have to tweak something just to get it to print at all. I don't like having to make 3 or 4 prints to get one satisfactory.
