Fuel filter location on 2.4L?

Not by the fuel tank under the rear cabin, no access panel underneath back seat, followed fuel lines and cant seem to find it, having trouble finding it

Hey, Chris. Depending on the exact year (2001-2005) I believe some of the 2.4 equipped Optimas do not have an in-line fuel filter. Instead, they rely solely on the “sock” filter that is attached to the pickup tube in the tank. If yours does have an in-line filter it should be just in front of the fuel tank. The Optimas with the 1.8 sometimes have their filters located on the firewall on the driver’s side. Check there just to be sure. Let me know if you find otherwise and good luck with your repair!
