Pixel has black screen and usb port unreponsive after replaced battery

I used the ifixit kit replace the battery on my pixel XL and after getting it put back together, the screen is black. I can turn the phone on and it will vibrate upon turning on and answer a call by swiping up on the screen when it rings. Tried checking with a flashlight, it doesn’t appear to be a backlight issue. Also, the usb port is unresponsive when I plug the phone into a computer. Not sure if this is because I can’t unlock the phone on the screen or if it is somehow broken. I can’t find any cable tears or bent pins anywhere. Any ideas of things to try would be greatly appreciated!
