So I just replaced the right speaker/subwoofer on my late 2011 15” MacBook Pro with one I purchased here. The new (to me) speaker functions (using the audio slider proves sound is coming out of the left and right speakers) but I’m not getting any BASS. Has anyone ever experienced this? Thanks in advance.

I would check the resistance of the speaker, compare it to your older unit are they the same?
You may just have a bad part.

What was the reason you replaced the speaker? Was it because of the subwoofer?
