Screen will not turn on.

I’ve been struggling with getting my iPhone 7 Plus screen to work with iFixit for months. I got a screen from them and put it in, and the device would turn on, the touchscreen would work, and I’d even get notifications. But the screen was completely black minus a small amount of backlight. Now I got another new screen from iFixit in hopes they just sent me a bad one. I put it in and now it doesn’t work whatsoever. Help???

with what exactly? I see no mention in your query that you have contacted the supplier that sold you the replacement. Is there any particular reason you have not done so?

Sounds like a possible backlight issue. I would suggest taking your phone in a dark environment and shine a bright light to the screen, if you see a very dimmed out image when toggling power or home button to turn on the screen that would confirm the backlight fault.

@sahbrah Nope, it's very unlikely it would be the screen, most times is a board issue. One can try an alternative display to be on the safe side and because it's an easier and cheaper repair attempt, but since you tried that already, a board repair would be needed.
