Stuck in Bootloop for weeks, advice on working repair I did?

So my iPhone 7 got stuck in boot-loop, I tried to update and restore via iTunes and also used 3uTools but nothing would work. So I opened it up and disconnected the front camera then reassembled the phone and everything is working perfectly. Can I now re-connect the front camera or should I leave as is? I could do with at least one working camera as the rear one has specks of dust on lens and is noticeable in pictures? (also can this be cleaned somehow)

Any help or advice would be great as I’m not the best at fixing phones.

You can surely try to clean the back camera and the protecting glass but it might as well be a faulty one with particles already inside it, in which case a replacement would be needed. Same thing probably goes with front camera, once you plug it back it will probably restart the bootlooping. It’s an easy repair though and the part is quite inexpensive..here’s a guide to help you in case you decide to replace it. Part is available at the iFixit store too.
