When I insert my telus sim card my phone still says no service phone is unlocked and compatible with telus

Hi,
Have you tried the SIM card in another Telus network compatible phone to prove that it is OK?
Have you tried another known working Telus SIM card in your phone to see if it works there?
Basically swap the SIM cards between the two phones to see if the problem is with the card or with the phone.
