It should support a wide variety of cards. It will not, however support cards that came with powermac G4's, or G3's (Some kind of uncompatibility between the way apple used the pinnout of the agp connector from what I have read) You can use any flashed card without "taping" the pins, and any other card that it originally came from. I wish i had more info, but I don't own one of these (G5's have proved to be too unreliable in the past for me to own one)

Thanks rj & chris. My main problem with the cards is trying to determine performance. The names and numbers of the different cards do not really reflect what they will do. What I really wanted was a "buyers guide".

From what I read, a flashed ATI Radeon X800 (AGP) is a pretty great card.
