Screen Glitches after back glass shatter.

I dropped my Iphone X resulting in the back glass getting shattered.

After I shattered the backside the front screen started clicking things in a spesific part of the screen by itself. Bottom/mid right side.

No Visual glitches or damage can be seen on the front screen.

Has anyone encountered the same problem and have a fix?

I would suspect that the screen was damaged by the impact that shattered the rear glass. At this point, the only way to know for certain is to try a replacement screen. Considering the cost of a replacement screen, you could always drop by a repair shop to see if they can try one of theirs.

I was at a local repair, they looked at it without even opening it. And told me a repair would be $700 usd. Which I'm honestly not gonna pay to repair my secondary phone's screen. If switching screens is the only thing needed to get it back working, would you recommend doing it at home and ordering a screen online, or is the process too complicated?

It's not that much different than any other recent iPhone ... except that mistakes cost more money now ;>). OLED replacement screens are still quite pricey. You can get an LCD replacement screen for less but the screen quality will not be on par with an OLED.

Check out this guide and see if you're comfortable.

Like Minho said. The impact likely damaged the screen as well. New screens are not cheap however $700 is way to expensive to fix the phone. Some repair shops are charging closer to $400 so do some looking around and see if you can get a better price. Unfortunately due to how new the phone is, parts are still expensive and you have to think, repair shops will also charge for labor as well.

The repair is quite simple as only one component need to be transferred to the new screen however if you damage the part in any way, Face ID will no longer work. If you don’t feel confident with doing the repair yourself then take it to a repair shop. I would just make sure to check what there policy is if they damage the phone.

One other thing it could be is that the frame got bent. If that's the case it could be putting pressure on parts of the screen causing the same result. If your frame is bent it might be as simple as just bending the frame back. Likely however, it's the screen itself.
