My device doesn't start...

I’ve repaired the Nintendo 2ds xl top screen, because it was damaged.

Now if i want to turn on my device, the blue light turns on for about 4 seconds, both of the displays are flashing and then the blue light and both of the screens turns off :(

What can be the reason?

I’ve thought it can be the battery, changed it and the same issue is happening..

Hi!

Check the ribbon cable connection of the displays. If those are not seated properly or if the cables themselves are a bit damaged (scuffed or dented), the console won't turn on.

But if the ribbon cable connection of the displays are not seated proberly, will both displays flash up then?

Hi!

Yes, a bad connection does not mean that there isn't any connection, it just means that it's not enough to get a good enough signal trough.

It's honestly a dumb feature implemented by Nintendo to have the consoles check the hardware upon boot and shutdown if anything is wrong.

can it also be a broken mainboard?

A shot smd or similar?

Or is it a pretty clear sign of no good connection?

To me it's a pretty clear sign of a bad connection. The chances that you broke the main board while replacing the display are quite low.
