Touchscreen Is Not Responding

I have a 3g Iphone, I notice when i changed the digitizer it will not respond to the touch, wil not slide to open phone, when i took it off and put it on another iphone the screen works perfectly.so i put another working digitizer from another iphone and again the sam problem.is there something wrong on the board as to why this ill not work on this particular phone?
