Hi

What is the model number of the laptop?

Can you hear the fan start up the first time that you start the laptop? If not does it start the 2nd time?

Try starting the laptop in safe mode and check what happens.

When you can get into Windows OK, check in Event Viewer for any Critical, Error or Warning entries that may give an idea what is going on. To get to Event Viewer, right click on Windows Start button, left side of Taskbar an select Event Viewer from the drop down box that opens.

You are facing unexpected shutdown after booting the laptop. This might be due to the issues regarding power management.

I would like to suggest you to try running the Power Troubleshooter to check if it helps to resolve the issue. Have in mind to back up your data from system partition before the process commences, as unexpectedly shut down may lead to data loss.

Way 1: Run the Power troubleshooter on the system.

Refer these steps:

  1. Press Windows key + X, select Control panel.
  2. Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
  3. Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
  4. Run the Power troubleshooter

Way 2: Further you can try creating a new power plan according to your preference. Refer the link below for more details on Power Plans.
