Is there anyway of repairing the LCD touch screen?

My nook has 1/3 of the screen working and it just stopped working so I think it is something to do with it not connecting correctly, I just dont know what to look for to see what I need to fix. Also it turns on and the screen works and it looks good but, I do have a crack at the bottom of the screen on both sides but, it doesn’t look like it would effect the touch at all.

Screen replacement is needed. When you drop or crack a device anywhere on the screen, there is a possibility that the touch is affected too. This is one of those cases.

The replacement part is hard to find, but eBay is most likely the place to find the replacement screen.

Here's a link to a guide on how to replace the screen, if you ever do find a replacement part.

But I dont have memory of damaging it and I only noticed the crack when I took it a part to put in a new battery, do you think its worth tring to repair or just buy a new LCD screen for 20$.

If you want to try and fix, it's definitely worth it. Have you tried opening it up again and taking a look at the LCD cable and connector? If they look fine, I would definitely encourage you to replace the screen.
