Hey i got an iPhone 7 that cant be activated. I,m a repair guy but i never saw thus before. It has also no service. I reballed the baseband but that dident make a difference. Can anyine help me out?

I’ve seen that on a cellular iPad that was iCloud locked. Someone thought they could remove a resistor to turn it into an unlocked Wifi only version and thus get around the Apple activation lock, without knowing Apple already patched that vulnerability. The result was that when trying to activate the iPad that same message as in your picture was given back by the system. Hope the info can help you figure out the issue.

Thanks for the answer but it also says no service. Did the ipad also said no service?
@thies44 The cellular part was purposely disabled, but can't remember if it showed the no service flag, as soon as I understood it was locked I just moved it to the spares and repairs pile.
I have same problem with iphone 7. its showing IMEI as well on startup screen. Its not icloud locked when checking IMEI. Its not resolved yet because i dont have much hands on microsoldering. check this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d989PEe5...

check for short to ground on this inductor and the 2 right below it.

From what i’ve seen/researched this is a hardware issue that Apple will have to repair. There is actually a recall for some iPhone 7/7 Plus’ for this exact reason. I’d check with Apple support or if you have a local Apple store drop by there and ask a Genius.

How can I fix this issue, Because I have already tried several manner, but it doesn't works, I even used icloud to fix it, it still doesn't works
