Mini HDMI cable stuck to Nikon D7000 Camera HDMI port

I have a problem with Mini HDMI cable stuck to my Nikon D7000 Mini HDMI port. There was no significant force used to fit the cable to the port but very strange that I am unable to pull the cable out of the port after. Any idea how to pull the cable safely out of the camera?
