Who cleaned it?
If it was by a professional repair service, was it working when you picked it up from them? Take it back to them and show them the problem. Most reputable repair services give a guarantee on their work.
If you cleaned it yourself:
Did you use Isopropyl Alcohol 90%+ to remove the water and any corrosion from all the affected components?
Did you disconnect the battery before you dis-assembled the laptop further to clean it?
Did you disconnect any flex cable connections to make sure that there was no water in them?
What did you do to clean it?
What is the full model number of the laptop?
