Is my LCD screen broken?

Today I was replacing the digitizer on my iPad. In the process, the LCD screen fell on my feet; it was a soft drop and I didn’t think it would be an issue. I have replaced the digitizer, but now my screen looks like this.

Can you tell with confidence that this is the LCD screen itself, or the connector? I am looking for used LCD screens on eBay in the meantime.

Gekozen oplossing

It’s most likely the LCD.

If the LCD panel was damaged or if the flex/connector embedded in the panel is damaged, then you will need to replace it. If it was still connected to the logic board when it fell, then inspect the connector on the logic board to be certain.

That's what I was thinking; thank you very much! Got a used part for 25 bucks. I will see if it does it.
