Black screen but sound still there

Watching tv for awhile my TV screen goes black but the sound is still there. It sometimes comes back on however most of the time i have to turn off and back on. What can this be? Is it the tv or cable box?

Hi I’ve just experienced same problem & at the moment it’s working again & after trying couple of suggestions I did a reset to factory default which fingers crossed ? has fixed it…

Just wondering how you did a factory reset without a working screen or did you manage in the time that the screen was on?

Otherwise is there a code that you can input using the remote, if so please share?
