stuck on the plug to itunes logo

Its stuck on the plug to itunes and i plugged it into itunes and it gives an error. The error number is 1671. Do you think i will be able to fix it or should i take it to a professional or Apple??

Btw: It happened after my father took it to a guy to put a sim in it a was gonna set it up myself but then he did something to it (i guess he thought i wanted him to set it up or something ) then it popped up and wouldn't go no matter what i tried.

Try using a mac to restore the iphone as this error usually is to do with operating system or outdated software.

1. try to update itunes

2. try using a different system

3. try to use an original apple cable

4. restore the phone if update doesnt work

Some iTunes errors are related to bad cords, and can be worked around by moving to an Apple branded cord. Also, I have one computer where one of the USB ports is temperamental and changing where it's plugged into the computer helps.

Besides that, what's the error number?

1671 is related to the iTunes client on your desktop being unable to connect to the Apple servers to download software (it's pretty common for iTunes to want to reinstall the OS and/or update to fix an issue).

That shouldn't have anything to do with the connection to the device, and the bad cable/bad USB port angle I was talking about

Here's a pretty comprehensive write-up on dealing with the 1671 error: https://appletoolbox.com/2016/01/error-c...
