MacBook Air not turning on.

My MacBook Air (early 2015) is not turning on. When I plug in charger it shows green for a sec and then red. When I try to turn it on, all I get is ssd getting hot. Even fan does not spin at any point. SMC resetting results in nothing and battery supposed to be charged fully yet it shows red.

Do you guys have any idea what could be the reason?

First thing i would do is remove the SSD. It shouldn't be heating up if the machine isn't even turning on. From there try to see if you get any signs of life. When you do the SMC reset, does the Magsafe light change from Orange to green and back again?

Maybe try reseting the NVRAM by hitting "Command + Option + P + R". This sounds like it could be a logic board issue.

Magsafe light do change from oranage to green and back again when I do SMC reset. Logic board also appear to be quite clean. Yesterday, the fan ran for a while when i reconnected battery to board while charging was on.

Exact same thing is happening with my early 2015 macbook pro and another user commented on my post saying the same thing. This is not an isolated issue, this is an apple issue. I hope it gets rectified VERY speedily! I almost spent money changing my logic board, but I knew that wasnt the issue...

Did this ever get resolved Christopher? Same issue. Thanks.
