station status is locked even when the computer is in standalone

My Toshiba Portege Z30 C is usually connected to a docking station and an external screen via the docing station. I unplugged the external screen while the computer was in sleep mode. Now, when the computer is in standalone mode (not connected to a docking station) it does not recognize any external screen. Vega, HDMI ports are acting like dead. Any idea how to fix this?

I tried to "extend" rather than " duplicate

I made sure that all the windows updates have been installed

I updated all the drivers (through Toshiba web site)

I uninstall and reinstall the Display Adapters

But nothing seems to work
