Screen fades to purple tint?
Screen starts out bright and normal then fades to purple tint with colored lines?

Did you recently replaced your screen? If so try to reconnect your screen cables correctly, let know us know how you go with that?

Replaced battery and home button. Disconnected and reconnected cables and still fades out till it has colored lines and touch screen freezes up. I lock the screen ( turn off ) and push home button to turn back on and it starts over and everything is fine till it fades again. Under closer inspection I realized that the screen has separated from the plastic at the top of screen. Ordered new screen gonna try that!

Was it damaged and/or any repairs done to it recently?
Reseating the screen cable would be the first troubleshooting method.
