Ipad2 screen turns on, sometimes flashes green.

Hello,

I dropped my ipad, it may have hit something, but it has a microelectronic case. At first every time I pressed the home button to turn it on, it just dimly lit the screen and a dropped it on the carpet a bit, with no effect. Then, I knocked on it with my knuckles and it started flashing yellow one time after I pressed the power button while it is on. I saw an answer to smack the pack, so I gave it the good old spanking. It sort of worked. Now, when I press the home button to turn it on, it flashes all green for a split second, showing also a lash of the normal background and home screen. When I press power button to turn off, it flashes green for like .1 seconds, flashes heavy green tinted background for .3 seconds or somewhere around there, and then flashes all green for .2 seconds, then turns off. I am a kid, so if you could provide the least complex answer possible, that will be awesome. I will get my dadto take it to the shop if I have to open it. Thank you for taking your time to read this and I hope my iPad is ok :)

Either the display cable needs to be reseated for the screen or the LCD display needing to be replaced. You will have to take it to a mobile phone repair shop to get them to open it.
