Why are my pictures coming out completely white?

Why are my pictures coming out completely white?

I just got my camera tonight, but its the instax mini 26... i took a first picture and it worked but i used flash, i took a second and it came out blank & then i used flash for a third and it worked... anymore ive tooken have came out blank & im getting really frustrated! why do i HAVE to use flash and why are they coming out blank?
