My iPads iOS is not updating right now at 5.1.1
I have an iPad 1 and it won't download the latest version of the iOS for the last 4 years!
I NEED HELP!!!

Apple quickly discontinued support for iPad 1st generation. The latest iOS will always be 5.1.1. The problem was hard ware design prevented all the new features in iOS 6+ from working in a 1st gen iPad. iRonically, the 2nd gen iPad was the longest supported and in manufacture iPad. The 2nd gen was discontinued at iOS 9. There is no way to download apps with new versions of iOS requirements. If it doesn't support iOS 5, then you won't be able to download it.
