After replacing iMac logic Board fan spins loud and no video shows up

Hello everyone

someone gave me a iMac 27 Mid 2011 completely taken apart so i had to put it back together. After putting it back together the machine powers on immediately the fan starts up slow and then all of a sudden the fan starts spinning super load and i have to unplug it from the back end to get it to stop. Nothing shows up on the LCD at all just wondering any idea what it could be?

thanks

I would really help if whomever you got it from would give you the history of the machine.

Meanwhile here's a couple of things that immediately came to my mind.

Racing fan can be caused by a hard drive change and not addressing Apple use of hard drives with priority heat sensors. Look on the drive for a Apple logo, if you don't find one we can talk that.

Next hook it up to an external monitor and see if you get anything.

Tell me if the last four characters of the serial number contain one of the following groups (for example, xxxxxxxxDHJQ):

DHJQ, DHJW, DL8Q, DNGH, DNJ9, or DMW8

DPM1, DPM2, DPNV, DNY0, DRVP, DY6F, F610
