How to turn an iMac 27 " 2010 Display into an external Monitor
Is it possible to turn my broken iMac 27 " 2010 models LCD Display into an external Monitor using the existing casing ?

Yes, we did a 24' 2008 this last week and I'm working on the guide now.
You'll need to get the specific number off the back of the display.
Then look it up with this company:

So far I have 52 photos. Have to do some case mods. I put the video connectors out ports at the RAM door. Used the existing power on button, drilled indicator holes and mounted the control plate to the left on the bottom panel.

The 27" may be deeper and not require mods to the center. An interesting project and very cool monitor. Still working on the iSight camera hook ups but the rest is up and running. Works great.

Would like to know if it is possible to use the iSight Camera once the mod has been completed.
