How I can save data from the demo game on to the actual game?

I have checked online for the answer but people just assume the system is going to know there is another game downloaded on the system and it will ask a question like: Would you like to transfer the saved data on the demo to actual game?

I had a demo game called Tomodachi life and eventually I got the full game not download able but the actual game cartridge and the system nor the actual game asked me if I wanted to transfer my data. So I'm kinda curious how can I do this so I can further help others with the right answer not just assumptions.

Please and Thank you

Basically you don't.

Saved data is usually encrypted to discourage cheating, also the system is usually protected so you can't just modify the files. Very few games offer to load demo saves to full games, most demos don't even save at all and if your game is not one of those which offers savegame transfers, you can't do anything.

But Nintendo says you can? They all say it on there demos like Tomodachi life or Miitopia when you download the demo the data gets saved and it can be saved on the actual game somehow but they never tell you how.

That doesn't make any sense if the game says itself and nintendo says you can.

Thnx for your help anyway. But I think you need to look in it further unless the games themselves are lying about their product. It's not cheating if you have the demo already and bought the actual game. I get what you were saying though but I don't think it applies to my question.

I am propably VERY late to answer this, but if you have the special demo of Tomodachi Life completed, you can transfer the data to a downloaded version OR a cardridge. Once you completed the demo, go on Tomodachi Life ( make sure there no life on it ), and once you start it up it should detect the demo and ask you if you want to transfer the data or not.

I’m very confused because I looked this question up multiple times and the answer is always a 50/50 because half the time people say you can and the other half they say you can’t. I also have the demo version so I have a suggestion for if you’re nervous you might loose miis that you really like if you want the same items you have in the demo I’m at a loss for you. (sorry)

1: buy the full version of the game

2: if I can’t download my saved progress I will look at the mii settings (personally, voice ect ect)

3: take videos and pictures of the settings and what the mii looks like (video so you know what each mii sounds like)

4: add the miis to the full version of the game the way you would in the demo through the town hall in the game use the pictures and videos to match the voices and personalities to each mii in the demo

5: play the game the way you would in the demo

The region code of a Nintendo game affects its title ID, which is a unique identifier assigned to each game. While a game may remain the same across regions, it will have a different title ID.

For example, Tomodachi Life has a title ID of 000400000008C300 in North America, but in Europe, its title ID is 0004000000126B00. The digits from 2 to 8 in the title ID indicate if the game is a full version, demo version, or update version. Meanwhile, digits 10 to 16 denote the game's save folder.

It's important to note that the demo version and full version of a game must belong to the same region, regardless of the media type.

For instance, a full game from North America will only search for save files in the North America demo folder (008C301) and won't recognize save files from other regions.

This is the same reason why somepeople have issues importing data from Tomodachi Life to Miitopia.
