Can I fix the lcd turns black after get wet with the saliva?

My 7months old baby play my samsung galaxy j1 then my phone is wet with her saliva after that i notice little by little the screen is turning black until its all black but the device is working,,do i have to replace it or i still can fix it without replacing the lcd?
