Issues after updating from Lollipop to Marshmallow

Ever since the Marshmallow update/upgrade from Lollipop last week, I have had nothing but issues, from draining battery, ads, missing apps and having to uninstall/reinstall some for them to work correctly. Then last night while using an HEB Grocery app the phone shut off a couple of times, the third time it shut off completely and is dead. I have even taken the back off and unplugged the battery to no avail. Has anyone's phone completely crashed like this after the update? Anyone know how to get the phone working again?

Try factory reset using Volume UP+Power key. Power off your phone and press that keys. When BLU logo appears release the power button and keep pressing Volume UP key until Recovery mode shows to you. Then using the Volume UP and Volume DOWN key , choose factory reset/wipe data and press that with power key and then click YES. When that finish , press Reboot system. This could help

Yeah, I have tried all of the combinations of buttons to be held, none worked. Closest I got was the BLU logo flashed for a second or two, one time.

I do not mind getting a new phone but it is just frustrating that I have not had any major issues until the update to "Marshmallow".

Actually, since I bought Life X One 1 1/2 years ago and was so impressed by the value, I have purchased five BLU phones since for family and a friend, the latest was two Life One X2 Mini's which are great phones so far by the way.

Anyway, I have emailed BLU and explained what happened and I guess I am sending it to them.

Thanks
