Charging problem due to excess voltage supply

My camera stopped charging after a high voltage from a generator affected it. How do I fix it myself. I have not dismantled this kind of camera before but I have repaired other types. I need a guide to disassembly it. Thank you.

I have tried another battery and another charger, none worked. Thank you for speedy response.
