Why does it jump all around my screen when I try to use it
when trying to use my mouse it will either jump around the screen or float away on it's own, why and how do I fix it?

Try a different mouse. If it still happens, try a different surface with a different pattern.

Try wiping the sensor chamber with a piece of cloth to det rid of stuck dirt interfering with the sensor.
Also wipe dust away from mouse pad.
