Hello,
I just got off chat with Apple and they said my rear camera sensor is broken (which is why the rear camera displays a black screen and flash isn't working).
If I use the guide to replace the camera I found on iFixIt, will that also replace the sensor or is that a totally different part I can purchase and replace instead?

That was the one I was looking at! So am I safe to assume the sensor is a part of the camera?
It's just semantics. The camera contains the sensor and the optics.

did you already tried a hard reset of the phone before replacing everything??

@Oros Yes, I have tried a hard reset along with soft reset.
