Hi, My ipod touch 5th gen is not charging, tried it with alot of other cables.
and when it does it only lasts for a few seconds, and yes the battery works bc i have turned it on.

Could just be the port itself is going bad. Unfortunately these really aren't worth repairing and more damage could be caused to the device while trying to repair them. I would look at purchasing another one...it will be less expensive in long run.
