My drone will not sync
Have two Propel Spyder XL drones and I can't get the remote to sync to the drone on either one. The remote will synce and the drone lights keep flashing and will not fly.

Have a similar problem. I was flying just well the last 2 days, sudenlly my Spyder XL stop syncing. I'm doing all the synch proccedures correctly, but just can't synch it any more.
Do you know a way maybe to reset the transmitter or something?

Open your remote, it may be with a broken wire as my

The headlights are the ones that stop flashing. Once you sync you than have to push both sticks down and in to start the propelers. I made this mistake. If you continue reading the instructions, they tell you how to start and stop the blades, by pushing down and in or down and out on both sticks.

I have synced the remote and have flown this drone multiple times but for some reason today it will not sync.
Cheers. My drones sync ok (i've two with exactly the same issue) but propellers just won't start moving. I'll try your advice and let you know

Same here I think it sounds like a major issues I landed a little hard last time I flew it was doing stunts using the stunt button . but then just will not sync now at all I've tried everything except opening it up to see if a wire is disconnected somewhere or damaged circuits thats the only other thing it could be but it should be made for hard landings if it's a stunt drown not all goes as planned doing stunts.

We were frustrated that ours wouldn’t sync. We tried everything in the instructions. Also, we kept waiting for two beeps that it said is supposed to happen when the RC and the flyer are synced. Well, ignore that. It’s only going to make one beep. Once synced, press the bottom left button to start the propellers. Finally!!! It works.

Albert! Yes sir! All of the above complaints were mine too. Your fix solved it. Up (beep) Down (beep), then hold in the bottom left button until it beeps. Sweet. I have a happy boy now (and a happy dad) Isn't it nuts that the instructions are so messed up?
Are the lights on the body flashing? Or the lights on the wings still flashing? If the lights on the body aren't flashing then it's synced. To turn on the propellers move both sticks down and in at the same time.

The lights flash but when i throttle up it starts to hit full speed n suddenly the lights start flashing and the drone just stops
Mine won't sync either I have a propel cloud rider, I plug the battery in and the lights don't flash at all and remote won't sync to it, any help???

New out of the box, I charged the battery. I installed the battery and turned on the remote. The remote beeps once and stops flashing. The orange and white lights on the drone continue to flash And it does not respond (no beeps, no reaction to the remote) .
Why does the remote think it is synced to something? It’s not syncing to the drone. Any comments?
A little late, but if anyone else has this issue, open up the controller and check for loose /disconnected wires. My x12 started having this issue last night and took a lot of messing with the controller to get it to sync. I realized it was a controller based issue because as soon as I turned the controller on, it would act as though it instantly synced (no flashing lights). This morning I couldn't get it to sync at all. After opening the controller, I found a loose wire. I initially thought this wouldn't fix the issue considering it was part of the elevation /spin control. Resoldered the wire and voila! Problem solved! Far from the best drone but for the price, I have no complaints and I'm actually impressed with its performance in comparison with other drones in this price range.

Follow the instructions to sync. I have had my Propel HD Drone for three months nd it's still going strong! I did clip house that broke one of the support arms. I ended up purchasing two plastic bodies from Propel for whopping $3.50 each! Believe me when I say it was real P.I.T.A. to swap the motors/board/camera! For starters their are 32 micro screws! 7 on each arm and 4 on the body! My biggest problem was the routeing of the wires to the plug that plugs into the camera! The wire is "threaded" thru couple holes in the lower half of the shell. Had to de-solder/re-solder 4 very small wires! I had the experience and the proper sized soldering gun.

$200 for the drone? Mine cost me $80.00 new.
$60 for "new body" , really? Currently $4.99 on the Propel web site.
I realize the prices are high when first manufactured . Just go to the company web site to get current price/availability on parts. Whats really odd is that allot of the HD drone parts "out of stock"
I'm using the HD drone as a trainer. Once I get good flying this drone I'll upgrade to DJI Phantom Pro
Yes the HD Video Drone is "cheap drone" but I'd rather train on "cheap drone" rather than an "expensive drone" !

@waseeq I had the same thing happen to mine. It's caused by one of the cells of the battery being drained, the charger/balancer doesn't "recognize" it. What I did was take a AA 1.5V battery that had a two wire connector hooked to it and stuck the two wires in each hole on the end. I then hooked a volt meter to two wires and stuck the ends of those into the prongs of the battery which plug right into the drone (it read like 7mV). Where the charger plugs in with a three wire connector, I put two wires sticking out of the positive and the neutral. You can tell which is which if you take the battery out of its case and look in the inside at the connector. I took the two wires from the 2.5V battery and held them against the two wires coming out of drone 7.4V battery, held it there for about 30 seconds or so, watched the volt meter slowly rise and then just plugged it into the battery charger/balancer. It forced the battery to give a "recognizable" voltage to the charger. All good now.... ;)

Is Propel even in business anymore? There Customer Service phone (866 458-5151) does not work and their website does not have any replacement parts for sale ... says "Out of Stock on almost everything??

I just did live chat regarding non sync issue. They are sending me a new one to replace. Just live chat with them and tell them you don't have a receipt, it was a gift. Replacement sent without any haggle or issue.

This is the fix for no Sync After drop on the floor. Printed circuit board Come from Factory with non soldered wires!!!
Step 1 remove all visible screws.
Step 2 open the drone
Step 3 remake solder located on the picture.

Ive got the vivitar d446 aeroview i can calibrate it but for the life of me cannot sync it only flew it once
My vivarar 360 skyview does the same thing what i found that works is if I start in this order turn on the Drone then turn on the controller and Link it to the Drone calibrate the compass and then connected to the Wi-Fi on your phone as the last step before take off
Can I use another propel controller that went to a different propel drone for the Spyder XL ? What do I have to do to make it work ?

I have 2 red Atom 1.0 drones. to charge, turn off drone and plugin. the connector will light up RED when drone is fully charged. to sync them turn on drone and then controller. you shouldhear a beep and the lights change on drone. push thottleforward and then backwards, to sync. it should beep again and lights are solid not flashing.

I have an hjhrc version 1.0 drone. The front lights flashes red ,the back flashes blue. The remote says its paired but the lights keep on flashing.It won't start at all.

HD video drone from Propel, crashed and broke, ordered a new body, the new body was basically a new drone without the video camera. The new drone will not sync to the old controller. I removed all parts from the crashed drone and can still sync to the old circuit board, guess I'll have to replace the circuit board with the one from the crashed drone to be able to fly again. I'd never buy a drone from Propel. Absolutely no service. $200 for the drone and $60 for the new body and no response to emails from the company.
