Screen replacement even after recall

Hello i have a version 1.0 Galaxy Note 7 (pre recall). I use my phone for work and need the stylus as well as the stylus festures that come with the phone. Getting another phone is not an option. Even with the risk of fire i am choosing to keep the phone until either a updated (safe) version comes out or until a note 8 or similar device is released. Now to my question. Unfortunately my screen cracked glass only thank god. But now i cant find replacement parts. I know the phone has been recalled but surely someone out there has replacement parts. Ive gone to every local phone repair shop in my area and searched online no one has parts... any suggestions???

Personally, keeping the phone within a 10ft radius of a charger sounds like a stupid idea. Never mind keeping it in your house. Get a iPhone 6s or 7 :)

I use the note features for work and have used them since the note 2. Nothing against an iphone but it cant handle what i need it to do. Your basically telling someone who needs a truck for work to just go get a little coupe lol. As far as the fire risk its practically none! You have a better chance of your car exploding twice on your way to work tomorrow... Do the math i have less than a 1 in 22,321.4 chance of it exploding. Less than 0.008% caught fire. Oh BTW google iphone fires... for some reason it doesnt hit the media and been blown out of proportion like the note but whatever iphone you have has the EXACT same chance of catching fire. Same with motorola, htc, sony...Thanks

How broken is your screen? If it is very broken the I think getting a new phone will be the only option as the phone is recalled. If it is not very broken, and still usable, then I guess you could continue using it. Hope this helps.

Everything works as designed. The only issue is a few diagonal cracks in the glass. Sad thing is i have no earthly idea how it happened. I have NEVER broken or cracked a screen on any phone. I put it in my pocket a few hours later grabbed it and it was cracked. Even with a glass screen protector and a phone case. I guess im just screwed...
