Home button sensor fall apart from the cable

I was placing the sensor and all the home button to the new screen, and suddenly the part that goes attach to the phone, it fell apart from the cable. The cable is intact and the piece that has to be fitted into the phone is too, I dont know if there is a way to make it work again, because it didnt cut it just fall apart from its place. I dont know if you got which part fell, but when you open the phone, you have to lift that little cage (metal bracket)and remove the cable of the home button, wel the part that is connected to it socket, is separated from the cable. What can I do!???
