broke the screen not sure if the phone is done

I broke my iphone 5s screen. The screen did not work. However it still vibrated and made noises when receiving messages. The next day the phone did not vibrate. And the fuzzy screen did not light up like after i broke it. I tried charging it and nothing. Is the phone completely done?
