What is causing the spring to pop out from the tub

WHIRLPOOL WASHING MACHINE MODEL NUMBER WTW4800XQ4

the spring from the tub had popped off and i reinserted the spring , however it popped off again. why is this or what is causing this.

Reattach and pinch the hook closed on the end of the spring with a pair of pliers.
