Phone starts charging but stops and starts a few seconds later

i got the exact same problem for the past months....on my doogee y6 max. The phone needed magic to charge . I had to place it in such a way that the phones weight would apply force to the usb connection and in a certain angle upside down sometimes it would charge. Finally it lost that as well and went dead like a brick.

Send it to a repair store and got it back today actually....

The technician said the following...."i changed the usb .....charged it but it doesn't hold the charge and every few hours to 4 hours max it discharges....Its not the battery since we tested it and the battery seems fine, its not the usb since we changed it, so it must have something to do with the plaquette of the mainboard."

"somehow in a specific part of the mainboard there is an issue that drains the battery and doesn't allow it to fully charge"

Thats what the technicial said.....

Now either the tech shop are a bunch of noobs or my mainboard has an issue as they say.....

The phone came back and i plug it in a barnd new 4 hub usb plug with new usb cables and still charges for 4~6sec then stops.....STILL LOOKING FOR A WAY TO FIX THIS

Exactly Same thing is happening with my moto g5 plus, firstly it made chnge 4-5 usb cables within 2 month, then it works absolutely fine for 2-3 months when i get rid of my default turbo charger and switched to standard charger 15A 2v, then again it only gets to charge when switched off, still facing isuues, service centre raised their hand on this issue after many attempts….

Same problem… my Samsung Galaxy A70 charge for a few seconds the it stops, the original cable seemed to stop working so i bought a new one it worked a few days now its like mentioned before… when i stick it to my laptop it shows the sign for charging but the battery percentage doesn´t rise or even fall sometimes even when i am in low energy mode… I´m on vacation in thailand for 6 more weeks i don´t want to buy a phone here or bring mine to a repair shop i really don´t know what to do

I have a brand new iPhone 6 and I have the same issue- it’s infuriating to say the least .

This looks like a software issue. Check out doing a factory reset after backing your stuff up to micro SD etc ES fileExplorer:appBackup etc then reset. Battery stats bin can be hacked or altered between OS and updates or FOTA firmware Over The Air updates that can seriously inhibit functionality (think @pell a few years ago). So try that. Or if you have root, try battery stats erase via root app.

I got an A50. Had an issue with the charging. Phone charged good until it stopped showing the Fast Charge notification. It shows only charging now for a few months. Now the phone wont charge with any charger. Im thinking of sending it for repairs. Tried all the restarts even in safe mode. Still wont charge. Tried charging while phone is off still wont work. Tried original charger of someone else but stil wont work. Duno what this is and the phone is barely more than 18 months… Will send it in and hewar what they have to say… But never haf an issue with normal usb. This USB C stuff aint good it seems…

I think your battery is bad so maybe replace it maybe or maybe you charger is dirty or broken.

I’ve had a problem like that before but we couldn’t fix it because USB was broken on the device then it went dead forever. The device was a Kindle Fire 7.

When I am going to charge my mobile with my original turbo charger it is not charging then turbo charge is showing connected. But even a percentage does not increase. Whereas I charge by using another turbo charger, it gets charged. Later, after two minutes, after one or two percent charge, I charge it back with my charger, then the same charger starts charging. So it is not understood whether the problem is in the charger or in the mobile? Please guide me what should I do to solve my problem?
