Why is my screen not appearing when I press on button?

my screen does not appear when i press on button though sound comes.i was watching online drama after which it started to happen .it on's and offs properly there is no issue .its also charging properly when i have switched it off.but when i turn it on it does not respond to my touch like open message or call button.
