Answering phone call problem

When I got a phone call, my screen stay black and I cant answer. I can hear the ringing but when I turned the button ON (because it's only thing I can do) I lost the call. Before when I got a phone call, my screen would turn ON automaticly and I could answer but now it stay black. Help me please
