How do I fix a broken battery terminal?

I was replacing a broken screen and LCD. I must have accidentally pulled the battery cable terminal (where the battery plugs into the motherboard) off and now the phone won't charge. It shows a battery symbol when plugged into the charger, but it won't turn on. How do I fix this?
