Flickering, Flashing, Fading words, Black Screen -Pics Inside-

My friends Galaxy Mega's touch screen wasnt working and i told him i would take a look at it. At first, the phone turned on and everything was normal except for the touch screen not working. He said he had gotten it repaired before by someone so i figured maybe there was a loose connection. So i opened it up and made sure everything was connected.

When i put it back together and turned it on, the letters on the screen started flashing,fading, flickering, and were different colors and everything else was black.
