Using electronic cleaning wipes.

Some people have recommended using rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab to clean corrosion off the logic board and other parts of the Nano. I'm wondering if the special alcohol free/anti-static electronic cleaning wipes can be used on the circuit boards. I have a Nano 5th gen. that I got, non working, from eBay. It has a few issues that I think will require me to take the Nano apart and clean it. Thanks for any good answers!

The best stuff on the market to clean/remove corrosion on electronic components is a product called Deoxit D5.

Okay, so now I have the whole thing (Nano 5th gen) taken apart according to the video on this site. The battery is still connected, and there is corrosion all over the place on the logic board. Do I have to disconnect the battery in order to safely clean the board?

Het Dellbx, sould I use the cleanig wipes or the Deoxit D5. Oh, and I dont think you sould clean it with the battery connected.
